RCIA

About Us

Coordinator:  Liz Spohn

Goals and Purpose:  Provide those interested in the Catholic faith an opportunity for inquiry and an introduction to Gospel values.

Responsibilities:  RCIA is a process of welcoming adult newcomers on their journey to becoming active members of our church community in a series of instructional sessions.  It is for those who were never baptized, those who have been baptized in another Christian tradition, or those adult and young adult Catholics who would like to complete the sacraments of initiation (Eucharist and Confirmation).

Schedule:  As soon as someone makes an inquiry about the faith, regardless of the time of year, we begin meeting with that person to initiate their faith journey.

Time Commitment:  Sessions for those preparing to enter the Church are generally held once a week in the evenings or after weekend Mass.  Other participants, including sponsors, choose which classes in which they would like to participate.

Sponsors: If you would be willing to sponsor a candidate, please let us know.
